DOLLFUS & MULLER introduced four new finishing technologies: – Felts with a higher compacting rate for the finishing of knitted fabrics. – Reinforced open mesh conveyor belts for less machine stops for printing dryers. – Sanforizing palmer felts for a better handle for denim and sportswear finishing. – A new satin with higher picks for the best results during decatizing for wool finishing.
KNITTED FABRICS FINISHING
Compactors and calenders: The Dollfus & Muller felts are used on compacting machines or calendering machines. The compacting felts make the compaction and improve the fabric handle. For heat-setting processes, Dollfus & Muller has developed heat resistant felts made of Nomex fibers.
Tensionless & Relax dryers: The Dollfus & Muller open mesh belts are used to dry, to shrink and to stabilise the fabric in these machines. The fabric, which has been stressed during earlier processes, needs to be relaxed. This is usually achieved by waving the fabric between two belts, either by hot air or other mechanical means.
Teflon sheets: For a better introduction of the knitted fabric and its shrinkage adjustment, we supply also different kinds of Teflon coated sheets of all thicknesses that can be used on the compactors or dryers.
PRINTED FABRICS
Dollfus & Muller has a wide range of open mesh conveyors used on the printing dryers. The fabric which has been printed goes inside a dryer thanks to an open mesh conveyor in order to allow the circulation of the hot air to dry the fabric. The 202 years old company has developed the new open mesh dryer belt TAMIP HT 500 NR, the strongest belt of its generation. This belt has been specially designed for bed shitting manufacturers with pigment printing, wide width machines (up to 3,4 meters wide), speeds up to 110 meters / minutes and temperatures up to 200°C. This belt has been proven and is working successfully with the toughest working conditions with key customers.
DENIM AND OTHER SANFORIZED FABRICS
The Dollfus & Muller sanforizing felts are used on the Palmer unit of the compressive shrinkage range or sanforizing machine in order to dry the wet fabric coming from the shrinkage unit and to improve the fabric handle. The Dollfus & Muller SYPOR Sanforizing felts are used by most of the Denim producers worldwide and has been proven to be a good and reliable quality. Thanks to its construction, raw materials and design, the Dollfus & Muller sanforizing felts are the reference in the industry.
WOOLLEN FABRICS FINISHING
Semi- continuous or discontinuous decatizing machines: The Dollfus & Muller satin wrappers are used on these machines. The combination of the-pressure steam atmosphere and this wrapper gives a good handle to the fabric. Thanks to a higher number of picks and to the composition, the new DN 3000 satin wrapper gives an exceptional result.
