FEBRATEX Fair opened its doors to the guests again in Blumenau, Brazil in 12- 15 August, 2014.
FEBRATEX, which is the most important fair organized in two years in South Africa, reminded us of its importance in the textile sector with its 350 domestic and foreign participants and nearly 50000 guests. Blumenau, the city hosting the fair, is the most green city in the Santra Caterina(SC) District and forms the 35 per cent of the textile sector in terms of manufacture due to its German-origin disciplined structure and its being wellordered. From Turkey, 9 company including Genkim Chemical, Sanko İplik(Yarn), Cem İplik(Yarn), Oskar Dikiş İplikleri(Yarn), Karmak Machine, Demsan Machine, Güven Çelik Machine, Tekspin Textile Supply Industry and Vav Technology participated in the FEBRATEX Fair, which took place in Villa Germenia Park fair land. Mekür Fair Organization made 5000 brochures printed, put a billboard on which the participant information were written to the fair land entrance and advertised the information of the participant companies with this way. The companies that took place in Hall 4 interviewed the investors coming from various countries of South Africa, and they came to an agreement that organizing such a fair is reasonable. The Turkish Company Executives participating in the fair mentioned about a problem that they had taken place at the end of the hall and it had resulted from the other participant companies, situated always the same place. The Mayor of Blemeanu said the new halls would be ready for the fair in 2016 during the dinner hosted by Chief Organizer FCEM and Serkan Atıcı, Merkür Fair Organization Executive, received a confirmation from the organizer that the fair land in 2016 will be much better. Moreover, Thank you plaque is given to Merkür Fair Organization for Turkey in gala dinner because Turkey is the second biggest country after China. Textile Garment Machine Sector in Turkey needs to make itself known better in order to take place in Brazil market which is among the most essential textile areas and to increase the fair and promotion work for this area. By this time we sold 10-15 machine in Brazil market; it will become much bigger in the event that we sell 50 machines. But the matter is how long it takes to reach the goal of selling 50 machines.
