Tekspart Limited took place at the Fair with its distributorships of Korea-originated Tokio needles and lifting wires, Brasil originated Schickbin lifting wires made of specially hardened steel, Turkey originated Promar knitting oils, Taiwan originated Flying Horse collar machines, and China originated Longxing tricot machines.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Tekspart, Alpaslan Demir emphasized that the number of the visitors coming from foreign countries especially from Egypt, Algeria, and Iran and primarily from eastern bloc countries to the ITM 2013 Fair is higher compared to the previous years. Having indicated that they were very pleased with the ITM 2013 and that they had reached many of their targets even on the first day, Alpaslan Demir stated that “I can say that ITM is very different this year and it was configured very well. There is a more significant invitee and participant community. As far as I see, people do not come to wander, to tour or to see and go. They pinpoint. In fact, they bargain with you and they want to buy and sell something.” Having said that ITM became a world brand, the reputation of which spread beyond Turkey, Alpaslan Demir expressed that Turkish textile sector has developed itself continuously thanks to such activities. He indicated that Turkish textile industry strengthens and becomes an important platyer in the world market thanks to the activities like ITM and said that “I toured other stands at the Fair and I have had positive impressions. Besides, it is a pleasing event that the ones who know what they look for came to the ITM. It is very important that rather than the persons who want to spend their spare times, the persons who are real purchasers and sellers come to us”. Alpaslan Demir who stated that they participated in the ITM 2013 with new machines indicated that they offered very significant innovations to the invitees especially in the field of tricot machinery. He said that they displayed the models of 3.5 GG 3-5-7 GG Multigauge and 14 GG Multigauge of the LONGXING tricot machinery whose representation they make and that in addition to that, as FLYING HORSE collar machines, they displayed 80” mini jacquard and plain models at the Fair. Having narrated that he attended the Shanghaitex Textile Machinery organized in the Shanghai Province of China on 10th-13th June 2013 as a visitor and his impressions about the fair, Alpaslan Demir said that “The number of the participants of the fair and the importance the participant firms attach to the fair increase day by day, I think that the ITMA Fair performed in Europe will begin to lose its importance.
Because, many of the purchasers prefer these fairs that are performed in the Far-East. The fair is organized alternately as ITMA ASIA and SHANGHAITEX, therefore some manufacturer firms, especially the European firms, preferred not to participate in this fair. They prefer to take place in the ITMA ASIA Fair to be performed next year. Another remarkable event at the fair was that Chinese Firms produced machines in a short time like 2-3 years and that they concentratedon that sector. The share of China in the field of textile machine sector and technologies in the world increases day by day, and the European firms transfer their factories here to be able to compete or they started to cooperate with the Chinese firms.”
