Superba S.A.S, the world leader in the manufacturing of heat-setting machines for carpet yarns, has joined in July the family of the companies from the Belgian group VANDEWIELE. These two historic and famous names have now merged together to help the industry achieve new heights of innovation, quality and profitability. As such, SUPERBA wishes to confirm their strong commitment into the improvement of the global carpet manufacturing process: one extrusion module from VANDEWIELE will be exhibited on the booth, beside their own latest developments: The Space-dyeing process for carpet yarn is a growing trend in the manufacturing of tufted or woven carpets. SUPERBA, already mastering this sophisticated dyeing technique for years, will show their latest dyeing machine type MCD/3: this new version is able to continuously and simultaneously dye a bundle of 72 yarns, with a typical production of 270Kgs/h, and up to 400Kgs/h, with a range of 6 spot colors, plus one base shade. A spot design software for the creation of colored pattern on the yarn (YARNDRAW) enables to conceive a large range of spot drawings, from very short-space (20mm) to extra-long-space (150m) that will be printed on the yarn bundle thanks to ultra-fast linear piezo-electric actuators, exclusive to SUPERBA’s process. Famous all around the world for the high quality of their heat-setting technique with saturated steam under pressure for the thermic treatment of synthetic carpet yarns (PA,PP,PT), SUPERBA will unveil during this ITMA 2015 edition, their complete new version type TVP3/S, a major evolution of the current TVP3 line, already very famous and successful. What made the success of the TVP3 line has been further improved, revised and redesigned for an even more efficient process, energy saving and ergonomic. The control system of the line has been also totally redesigned. This TVP3/S new version prepares the future of the heat-setting by perfectly integrating itself in the heart of the carpet yarn manufacturing process. Finally for the acrylic fiber market (PAN) widely used in high quality carpets with high density, SUPERBA proposes their new LV3 setting line of high production equipped with their B401 winder with automatic doffing now available in 96 ends; this line, especially designed for the production of thin yarns (1000 & 1200 reeds weaving ooms) is able to produce up to 400 Kgs/h.
