Konica Minolta Turkey held its traditional annual retailer meeting with “Be-One” concept in Istanbul.
With the participation of 45 Konica Minolta retailer and Konica Minolta Turkey administrators coming from all around Turkey, the meeting that took place in Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamış Marina Hotel lasted for two days. Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe President Ikuo Nakagawa, who got appointed to the task last year, also joined the retailers meeting, in which a total of 72 people participated.
The presentations presented in the second day started with the opening speeches given by Ikuo Nakagawa and Konica Minolta Turkey President Toshiyuki Yamada. In the presentations, which are conducted by Konica Minolta, generally an analysis of Konica Minolta Turkey’s strategies and last year’s as a whole. In the meeting, where targets relating to the upcoming financial period are explained, business models that are adopted to achieve targets are also shared with the retailers. In addition to subjects such as customer oriented action, cost management, work flow, mobile printing; information concerning proactive services are also provided to the retailers. Throughout the meetings that was conducted under the concept “Be-One, which stands for the understanding towards growing together with retailers, employees and solution partners, Konica Minolta’s determination to act together as a whole and the importance of this approach in providing customer satisfaction is explained.
Talking about the retailer meeting, Yamada said: “The “Be-One” concept we adopted this year presents Konica Minolta’s faith towards growing together with its employees and retailers. While determining our business approach, we also take the comments coming from our retailers into consideration as much as Konica Minolta’s targets. That is why right after the presentations we held face to face meetings with them. We, all together, constitute Konica Minolta Turkey. Based on this realization, we will be at a point where we will provide a much better service to our customers. The consciousness of acting together will take us to a very different position in the market”.
Stating that: “As Konica Minolta we create difference by changing the ideas into value creating new job models”, Ikuo Nakagawa added: “We apply Konica Minolta’s global understanding of business and job discipline in every country we operate. However, in order to do that, we care very much about the assessments at local level. Turkey is a very valuable market for us and we focused on acquiring a sustainable growth for the upcoming period in Turkey. In line with this target, as Konica Minolta Europe, we will provide our full support for Konica Minolta Turkey and all of our retailers in Turkey. Through this synergy we created here, we will achieve successful works in Turkey”, and he highlighted Konica Minolta’s determination in becoming the leader within Turkish market. After the Konica Minolta presentations held in the second day, Yamada held one on one meetings with the retailers and listened to their views.
