Future Digital displayed its solutions in the digital textile field at the ITM Fair. Future Digital that displayed Mimaki textile machines, Berger Inkjet papers and Q-Tex paints at the Fair left the Fair pleased. After the Fair with a busy pace, the Chief Executive Officer of the Future Digital Selçuk Hazineci answered our questions.
How was the ITM Fair?
Textile Fair was very beneficial and productive for our company. We are extremely pleased with the Fair generally. An extremely professional visitor population followed the Fair. Although the number of the visitors is not very high, it pleased us in terms of the works which were made.
Which of your products did you display at the Fair?
As you know, we sell Mimaki textile machines. Furthermore, we sell Kalender transfer printing machine, Berger inkjet paper and Q-Tex paints. In the sublime group, we offer digital printing systems which will be performed on the fabric with a direct printing or a transfer printing. We presented all our innovations in this field to the taste of the customers. We experienced an intense attention.
How was the attention for the textile solutions of Mimaki? Would you give information about the features and the advantages of the machine?
Mimaki TS34-1800A that we displayed at the Fair was designed especially for the sublimation transfer printing market with a high speed. Mimaki offered exciting and high quality products in a broad range for the textile and ready-made clothing market. Sublimation transfer printing provides a developing and growing market like sports applications, flags, retail in-store posters and tapestries and flexible signboard applications thanks to its common features of flexibility of the polyester materials and fast drying. In the high speed 1 pass mode, it has a 94 m2 /hour printing speed at 360 dpi resolution. Automatic drying fans are standard. It provides a printing speed of up to 32 m2 / hour at 540 x 720 dpi in the mode of 4 colors – 4 pass. It provides fast and quality printing means with its 2 each new generation gradually placed printing heads. Together
with the large, medium and small variable plotting in the printing, it provides an additional feature of 1440 dpi printing quality.
You concentrated on the field of textile as a firm. Is there a special reason for that?
We wanted to reach success by concentrating only on a certain field as Future Digital. We have been performing works for textile group for many years. In the last period, we gave all our weight onto that area. We started to reap the fruits of that.
What is the situation of the digital market in textile? Does the market develop at this point?
We observe that textile develops in the interior advertising practices. As Future Digital, we offer textile framework products. With the form of straining the fabric, there are alternative products to the advertisement works to be made with forex, photo-block and foil. The demands in the field of textile increase fast. In Europe, interior textile products take a significant place. And the interest in textile in Turkey increases each passing day. We receive significant orders for textile groups in 2013.
