Taking big steps towards becoming an incoporate company, Bamen is among the ones believing in the importance of incorporation of the family companies.
With a democratic, transparent and incorporate sense of management, in the year 2002 with the management taken over by the second generation, it resturcured the substructure and organizations that are necessary for the incorporatin and strengthened the organization structure in accordance with the institution’s principles. Murat Başyazıcıoğlu, General Director of Bamen, summerizes this process: “Within the frame of KalDer ‘s EFQM Excellence Model, towards becoming incorporate, we together with the professional consultants firstly determined our 5-year long work plans. In this direction, aiming “profitable growth”, we drew our customer portfolio lines. By encouraging technological invesments and systematic development, we took over the leadershio of innovation. Through our motto ‘Colorin Your Life ‘, we aimed to color the world with Bamen yarns by adopting the principle of sustainability and via the supports given to education and environment. Lastly, we proved how serious we were by obtaining Determination Certificate from the excellence phases certification system organized by KalDer at national level.”
Becoming an institution that criticizes and evaluates itself with its Kalder membership, Bamen follows planned and system-depended successes rather than coincidental or individual success. Caring about all the expectations and success of all of its shareholders in addition to its own success, Bamen aims to become an institution that makes it sustainable. Seeing itself on the way to excellence but also in the beginning of the road, Bamen is determined to improve and develop even more.
2015 EXPORTATION TARGET IS AMERICA
Bamen, having exported to Morocco for the first time in the year 2014, plans to intensively export to America in the year 2015. In addition to new targets, considering giving attention also to the countries with which there is a weakened relationship, Murat Başyazıcıoğlu says: “Russian-Ukrainian war that started this year affected our sales in these countries and especially in Ukraine. To be able to export in order to repair our market share in these two countries in the year 2015, we also will be fighting our own “war”.
Having its target as to increase its export share within total yarn sale revenue up to 60% in the year 2015, Bamen continues to improve its innovation and automation structures that have been serving technology and humanity for many years.
Bamen, which will be creating different product ranges with the new investments made in machine track, is planning to present its new products to its customers. It directs all of its R&D and P&D works not only to meet the customer expectations but also to go beyond them, and therefore it participates fairs both at home and abroad, establishes new partnerships and cooperates with the universities. It not only directs its customers about the trends but also puts its customers into a position to have a say.
