Attending one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious textile machinery show ITMA 2015, MIMAKI has meet the industry with portfolio of the newest printers, inks and applications. MIMAKI, getting intense attention from visitors from all over the world, presented three new textile printers to the market.
Mimaki, a leading global manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting plotters for the sign/graphics, textile/apparel and industrial markets, has recieved intense attention from the visitors at ITMA 2015, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious textile machinery show. Presenting the newest printers in its spectacular booth, MIMAKI passed the industry’s test with with three new textile printers it presented to the market. “This was our biggest and most exciting presence at ITMA ever,” says Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe. “Digital textile printing is truly coming into its own, not only for sample making, but for full production runs. Mimaki is leading the pack with digital textile printing solutions that can meet just about every need. We are pleased to speak to ITMA visitors to our stand to find out how they want to use digital printing so we can continue to stay ahead of the curve with new developments that willtake the segment even further.”
MIMAKI launches three new textile printer
During ITMA 2015, MIMAKI has launched three new textile printer, which have same consept with MIMAKI TS300P. New printers, using their own inks and has Panasonic print heads, made their marks at ITMA 2015. Highlights on the Mimaki stand included the TS300P-1800 dye sublimation printer with SB410 ink which is ideal for paper transfer and will be able to take advantage of the new neon pink and yellow fluorescent inks. A Mimaki TS300P-1800 utilising SB410 ink for paper transfer in 2 x BMYK ink configuration will also be running at speeds of up to 115sq m/hr. A Mimaki TX300P-1800 with TP400 pigment inks for direct printing has featured on the stand which demonstrated printing that requires no washing step in post-processing; simply heating the media to fix the ink. This means there is zero waste water in this environmentally friendly approach to digital textile printing. Textile Pigment inks can be used on all kinds of fabrics, such as natural fibres like cotton or linen as well as man-made fibres. A second TX300P-1800 was running Dd400 Direct Disperse dye inks which are light and abrasion resistant and are ideal for industrial textiles as well as swim and active wear. Additionally, a Mimaki TX500- 1800B Sticky Belt driven system was running RC300 reactive dye inks which can be used for direct printing on textiles such as cotton and other prepared printable fabrics. Thirdly, a brand-new concept printer has launced at ITMA 2015. The 3.2 meter MIMAKI TS500P-3200 will deliver beautiful prints for wider textile requirements such as curtains, bed covers and more. This printer will use Mimaki’s SB310 inks. The printer will be commercially available in 2016.
