Countdown excitement for the third FESPA Eurasia exhibition (CNR Expo, 10-13 December 2015) continues as the event brings together wide format digital printing, screen printing, signage, commercial printing and textile printing industries. Following two successful editions, partners of the event – ARED (Sign Association of Turkey) – have boosted its activities for both its members and the industry. ARED Vice
President & FESPA Eurasia Board Member, İbrahim Demirseren reports how they continue to invest resources in order to develop and promote the visual communications industry, as well as raising its market share. “ARED arrange many events to fulfil this need. Our most important event is FESPA Eurasia which we develop with FESPA. The exhibition has been organised successfully for two years and has turned
into a strong platform where we gather members of the community, share industry information and develop the market. In addition to FESPA Eurasia, we conduct various training activities, having already established departments of outdoor advertising and signage in 3 vocational schools, and arranging various seminars within the printing sector. We also provide a legal service for our members, as well as disseminate
information about new technologies and information in the global print market to members and the industry as a whole.”
ARED’s International Network
Demirseren underlines “There is a need for more information and new technology in order to expand the Turkish printing and signage industry, which is why ARED have strong connections with international markets. As a member of FESPA – a global federation of associations – we take part in raising the competitive power of our industry within the global market; revealing the future potential of print. We also have access to FESPA research and worldwide projects, which we share with our members and use to boost market consciousness.”
ARED recorded an increase in its productivity and reached more industry professionals thanks to the FESPA Eurasia event, meeting new potential clients on the stand during the show. Demirseren highlights, “We have the chance to meet representatives of our members and international institutions. As well as evaluate the latest developments and industry trends and common challenges we face, and source new information for projects in Turkey.”
“FESPA Eurasia Reinforces Strength”
Industry events sustain their importance as both a commercial and social platform, however FESPA Eurasia is different. While it is a crucial event for bringing together the digital printing and visual communications industry, ARED Vice President Demirseren comments how it is
distinctive, “First of all, FESPA Eurasia seeks to develop the industry and increase awareness across sectors. Surplus revenues from the exhibition are re-invested in the industry through a number of activities conducted by both FESPA and ARED, who are non-profit establishments. Therefore, FESPA Eurasia is a very special event arranged for the benefit of the sector.” Representing screen printing, digital
printing and textile printing industries in Turkey and Eurasia region; FESPA Eurasia has delivered an effective trade show, having been accepted as a professional and respectful platform in the two years it has been in the market. İbrahim Demirseren elaborates “Besides, wide
format digital printing technology, the exhibition showcases various solutions related to printing. The event is used as the centre to purchase all types of productsand equipment from packaging to label machines, to screen printing, textile printing and commercial printing.”
