Natural ingredients and a dual-effect mechanism
Inspired by the “Beauty Sleep” trend, Devan utilizes a recycled byproduct of Australian Tea Tree oil as an active ingredient in this new technology. This component works through both inhalation and skin contact, helping to rejuvenate the skin overnight and providing a more refreshed appearance in the morning.
Aligned with a holistic personal care approach
Designed specifically for bedding textiles and sleepwear, this innovative solution caters to modern consumers seeking a holistic personal care experience. By enhancing melatonin effects, it reduces oxidative stress in the body, promotes antioxidant gene and protein production, and supports collagen synthesis, turning the sleep process into a rejuvenating ritual.
Effectiveness with 97% bio-based microcapsules
The Devan Sleep Tight technology is developed using microencapsulation techniques. Active ingredients are first enclosed within microcapsules and then applied to textiles. When the fabric comes into contact with the skin, friction between the body and textile breaks the capsules, allowing the content to be absorbed by the skin while volatile compounds are inhaled. These microcapsules have been tested according to OECD 301B guidelines and are biodegradable. The technology is compatible with various textile products, including pillows, sheets, bedding accessories, and sleepwear.
Positive results from clinical trials
Devan tested its technology on 33 healthy men and women aged 18-60 who experienced sleep issues. The participants used pillowcases treated with the R-Vital NTL 10015 Sleep Tight process every night for 30 days. They completed the scientifically validated Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Quality of Life (QoL) questionnaires. The results demonstrated that the technology improved sleep quality, reduced sleep onset latency, minimized sleep disruptions, and enhanced overall well-being.
Extensive showcase at Heimtextil 2025
Devan’s Sleep Tight technology was widely showcased at Heimtextil 2025 in Frankfurt by Devan and its partners. Notable participants included Portuguese companies Crispim Abreu Lda and Lameirinho, as well as Hungary-based Naturtex, a leader in duvet and pillow production. Initial production has already begun, and the technology is scheduled for market release in the second quarter of 2025. Through this innovative solution, Devan aims to deliver unique value to manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

Devan Sleep Tight teknolojisi, mikroenkapsülasyon (mikro kapsülleme) yöntemi ile geliştirildi. Öncelikle aktif bileşenler kapsüller içinde saklanıyor ve ardından biyobazlı mikro kapsüller tekstile uygulanıyor. Kumaş, ciltle temas ettiğinde vücut ve tekstil arasındaki sürtünme nedeniyle kapsüller kırılıyor. Böylece içerik cilt tarafından emilirken, uçucu bileşenler de solunum yoluyla vücuda alınıyor. Bu mikro kapsüller, OECD 301B testlerine göre biyolojik olarak parçalanabilir özelliğe sahip olup yastıklar, çarşaflar, yatak aksesuarları ve uyku giysileri gibi çeşitli tekstil ürünlerinde kullanılabiliyor.
